I'm Dr. Rafael Labanino, political scientist, research fellow at the Sustainable Mobilities research group, University of Nürtingen-Geislingen (HfWU), Germany and at the Institute of Forest, Environmental, and Natural Resource Policy, Universtity of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria.

In the past 14 years I have been conducting research with international and federal research consortia at top universities in Germany and Switzerland, and with international organizations in five broad areas:
sustainable mobility and mobility transformation
stakeholder engagement in skills policy (policymaking, implementation, and governance)
interest groups politics and lobbying in energy policy, higher education and healthcare policy in Central and Eastern Europe with a focus on the context of post-communist transitions and democratic backsliding
the politics of liberalization in the OECD and EU member states since the first oil crisis in 1973 across 12 economic and social policy fields
educational indicator development for the education for sustainable development in the German school system and teacher training
